Overview

Rate My Clip is a free AI grader for YouTube Shorts that delivers an honest, detailed report card in 30 seconds. Paste any YouTube Shorts URL and an ensemble of three AI judges analyzes the video across six dimensions — hook, pacing, payoff, visuals, clarity, and shareability — with each judge voting independently to produce a consensus score out of 100. Unlike conventional AI grading tools tuned to protect creator feelings, Rate My Clip gives direct feedback and will score a video 0/100 when that score is earned.

Every report includes a profile archetype (nine possible types such as ⭐ Perfectionist, ⚡ Lightning Bolt, 🎣 Catfish, 🌸 Wallflower, 💀 The Void), a hexagonal radar chart of all six dimensions, and actionable per-dimension critiques. Reports get their own shareable URL with a branded preview card designed for social sharing.

Rate My Clip is built by the team behind ClipFinder, a paid AI clip-extraction tool for long videos. No signup is required, and each IP address gets 20 free grades per day. All reports are public by design — the landing page shows a live feed of recently graded Shorts from real creators worldwide. This makes Rate My Clip equally useful as a self-review tool for YouTube creators and a benchmarking resource for understanding what separates successful Shorts from average ones.
