I Like Movies is a free Android app for deciding what to watch. Its AI assistant answers plain questions like "a nice comedy on Netflix" or "something in the same vibe with Nolan", drawing on your own ratings, your library and the streaming services you have, so it points at things you can actually press play on. It also understands mood, plot fragments and half-remembered scenes.

There is a Discover page with a new curated collection every week, plus monthly picks generated from your own taste. You can follow friends, see what they are watching and discuss titles in the app. People living together share one library, one watchlist and one watched history.

Films and TV are tracked episode by episode, with ratings, private notes and completion percentages for franchises and anime. Streaming availability is resolved for your country. You can import your history from Letterboxd or IMDb, or photograph a poster or a handwritten list and it reads the titles into your library.

Free to use, no advertising, no sponsored recommendations. Android now, an iPhone version is in development.
