Used it to narrate one of my horror shorts and the voice actually carries that creeping dread when you tune it right. Some emotional beats fall flat and you gotta regenerate a few times, but when it lands it's genuinely unsettling. Solid for spooky audio.
Best DX for voice AI in my experience
my goto for voice cloning, so that it's convneint to create scratch tracks bc it takes so long for clients to get us their audio
Voiceovers sound legit. I use it for ad narration when I don't want to record myself. Multiple language options and the voices have actual emotion. Cuts production time in half. 10/10
Honestly really realllly love this. I use it to narrate dance tutorials or add voiceovers explaining the feeling behind certain movements. The voices sound so natural. It's perfect for when I'm putting together practice videos or explaining choreography ideas.
So many options!
Computers should be allowed to TALK to us for free, like in the Star Trek TV series. Our future grandchildren will laugh at us for "paying" to use this everyday option, biting the hook to "monthly subscriptions" like gullible fish and then getting up to 1,000 words per month" under the so-called Pro version ;-) This is crazy!
Tried it for a short voice segment and was really impressed by the tone and pacing. Still catches a few odd pronunciations, but overall feels surprisingly human.
Great quality, BUT crazy expensive (only for millionaires and Corps), and not enough credits to narrate even 1 audiobook per month on their paid plans! That's why I use the 100% FREE Google AI Studio: https://aistudio.google.com/generate-speech (and the like).
This is my go-to TTS for Shorts/TikTok: natural voices, solid pacing, easy presets. Generate, drop into CapCut, done. Perfect for hooks and A/Bs; just watch slang mispronunciations, long-read tone drift and high-volume costs.
Excellent and stupid-easy to use. Perfect for quick draft voiceovers, natural vibes, clones, sound solid, and it's fast. Not every take hits, and the free tier feels tight, but the quality's there, so it's tempting for real projects.
