Overview

Uilicious TAMI Studio is a cloud-based workspace for planning, documenting, and automating UI tests with the power of Vision AI. At its core is TAMI (Test Authoring Machine Intelligence), an AI assistant that analyzes screenshots, recordings, and logs to suggest, create, and maintain UI test cases.

TAMI helps teams move beyond the manual tedium of test authoring by turning visuals into structured, readable, and maintainable test scripts. From generating test cases to writing bug reports, TAMI ensures that every step of the testing lifecycle is faster, more consistent, and less error-prone.

The platform integrates with the UI-licious low-code test framework, allowing you to convert documented test cases into automated scripts with minimal coding effort. Tests can then be executed in parallel across browsers using the UI-licious Cloud Testing Grid, with scheduling and real-time notifications ensuring you’re always up to date.

For modern QA teams, Uilicious TAMI Studio brings together documentation, automation, and monitoring in a unified solutio, giving developers and testers the ability to ship faster with confidence.

I have read their documentation, specifically the basics of how to get started and the test script commands. Surprisingly the commands are easy to read and understand. I may need to do a bit more exploring, I think I saw a blogpost that you can also use javascript with this tool like many other tools, so I'll check that out as well.

But for now, this tool seems to be promising enough for QA Testers and Automation testers who want to work faster and more efficient.

FAQ 7

How is TAMI Studio different from Web IDE?
TAMI Studio is the next-generation automation platform, combining test case management with a more advanced Vision AI assistant. Web IDE remains available for existing users, but TAMI Studio is recommended for new teams.
Do I need to install TAMI Studio?
No installation is required. TAMI Studio is fully cloud-based, with test cases, scripts, and artifacts stored online for seamless team collaboration.
Can I test apps behind a firewall or on localhost?
Yes, but with limitations. For cloud testing, apps must be publicly accessible (via URL or IP). Tools like ngrok can provide temporary secure tunnels. For stricter setups, Uilicious offers a Self-Managed installation.
Can TAMI fix broken tests automatically?
TAMI analyzes logs and screenshots from failed tests and suggests fixes for broken flows or element selectors, reducing manual troubleshooting.
What kind of bug reports can TAMI create?
Bug reports generated by TAMI include detailed logs, annotated screenshots, and step-by-step breakdowns for faster developer investigation.
What browsers are supported in test execution?
TAMI Studio runs on the UI-licious Cloud Testing Grid, which supports all major browsers in parallel for maximum coverage.
Is collaboration supported across teams?
Yes. TAMI Studio is cloud-native, enabling distributed teams to document, execute, and monitor tests together in real time.
