Overview
The principle behind the pricing is that diagnosis is free and production is paid. Everything that tells you where you stand costs nothing, permanently: skill gap analysis, a career path built automatically from your resume, full resume and ATS analysis, job matching with match scores, and re-scoring every time you upskill.
Each gap becomes a personalised learning roadmap. As you complete it the gap shrinks, your resume updates, and your job match scores rise in real time.
Jobs and internships are scored out of 100 against your actual skills, so you know your fit before you apply. Entry-level roles are covered for anyone with under a year of experience. You can also paste any job description and see where you stand against it.
Mock interviews run in three formats: text, voice and realtime, with Hindi available on realtime. Voice and realtime interviews end with a full report, a hire verdict out of 10, seven individually scored skills, and question-by-question coaching. Weak answers convert straight into a learning roadmap.
Finish a course and the SkillDrift certificate is added to your resume automatically, so the resume stays current without anyone editing it. One click shares it to LinkedIn as a post or into the certifications section.
Resumes are tailored to a specific role rather than built from scratch, and rewritten around outcomes rather than duties. Every figure in a rewritten line is one you supplied, nothing is invented. SkillDrift is not a resume builder, the resume is an output of everything else.
What makes it different from asking a chatbot: a chat session forgets you, and it will not tell you that you would have been rejected. SkillDrift keeps an evolving profile of what you have actually demonstrated, and new roles unlock as that profile grows.
Paid use is credits, not a paywall. A one-time top up is 6.99 USD for 299 credits that never expire, roughly four tailored and downloaded applications, or one live mock interview. Unlimited is 15.99 USD a month with no credit counting at all. Free to start, and free forever for everything diagnostic.

I uploaded my old resume and was genuinely surprised by how helpful Skilldrift was. The AI quickly pointed out skills I could improve, suggested relevant areas to focus on, and helped me present my experience more clearly. It made updating my resume feel much less overwhelming and gave me a better sense of what to work on next.
I was quite nervous about speaking in interviews at first and often hesitated while expressing myself. The career roadmap and AI voice interview practice on @SkillDrift really helped me build my confidence.
Over time, I became much more comfortable speaking and sharing my thoughts, even in discussions with people who are more experienced or senior than me. It also helped me get better clarity and direction for my career goals.
Overall, @SkillDrift has been a helpful platform for improving both my communication confidence and career direction.
I recently came across @SkillDrift, and I really like the way it approaches career growth.
Instead of giving you the usual one-size-fits-all career suggestions, it looks at your existing skills and helps you understand what you need to improve for the role you want to pursue.
It’s a great tool if you’re looking for more clarity on your next career step and want a practical way to plan your growth.
A career tool that feels like it actually understands where you’re trying to go.
What I really liked about SkillDrift is that it doesn’t just throw generic career advice at you. It takes your current skills, compares them with the role you’re aiming for, and makes the gap surprisingly easy to understand.
The career roadmap is probably my favourite part — instead of wondering “What should I learn next?”, you get a much clearer idea of what matters, what you’re missing, and what to focus on first.
I also love how everything connects: skill development, job matching, resume improvement, and interview preparation all feel like parts of the same career journey rather than separate AI tools.
This is one of the best AI powered career coach I have experienced. It give you very personalised advise on where you stand, how you should improve your skill and also give you bite size learnings to improve your skills. It also gave me suitable career opportunities and prep me for the interviews.
SkillDrift is a great career growth platform that identifies skill gaps and creates a clear roadmap to improve them. The job match score, resume tailoring, and AI interview practice are especially useful. Simple, practical, and a great tool for anyone looking to upskill and become more job-ready!
SkillDrift is a great AI-powered app for career growth. It helps identify skill gaps and provides the right roadmap, personalized guidance, and AI-based interview practice. The course certificates are an added benefit. A very useful app for anyone looking to build skills and advance their career. Highly recommended!
Finally, we’re using AI the right way!
SkillDrift has been really helpful. Before discovering this app, I used to rely on ChatGPT and Claude to identify my skill gaps and suggest what I should learn next. But being in the software industry, where change is the only constant, keeping track of everything across so many different chat sessions was becoming nearly impossible.
SkillDrift brings all of that into one place, making it much easier to understand where I stand, identify my gaps, and figure out what I should focus on learning next.
And the fact that it also shows jobs matching my skill set!! That was the cherry on top.
FAQ 5
How do I find out which skills I am missing for a specific role?

Upload your resume and pick the role you want, or paste any job description. SkillDrift compares the two and names every skill you are missing, individually, rather than giving you one overall percentage. Most people find the bigger surprise is the second category: skills they do have but never put on the resume. Each named gap then becomes a learning roadmap, and as you close it the gap shrinks and your job match scores move.
Why not just use ChatGPT for mock interviews?

You can, and for generating practice questions a chatbot works fine. Two things it will not do. It will not tell you that you would have been rejected, because these models are built to be encouraging, and a mock interview that always goes well is worse than none. And you do not interview by typing. SkillDrift runs voice and realtime interviews where you say the answer out loud, once, under time pressure, then returns a hire verdict out of 10 with seven individually scored skills and question-by-question coaching. A chat session also forgets you between conversations. SkillDrift keeps an evolving profile of what you have actually demonstrated.
How does the job match score out of 100 work?

Every job and internship on the platform is scored out of 100 against the skills you actually have, so you can see your fit before you spend time applying. The score is not static. As you complete learning roadmaps and close gaps, your profile grows and the same roles start scoring higher, while roles that were previously out of reach begin to appear. Internships and entry-level positions are included for anyone with under a year of experience. Note that the interview hire verdict is a separate number, scored out of 10.
Is SkillDrift a resume builder?

No. A resume builder helps you word a document better. SkillDrift changes what the document can honestly say. It will tailor your resume to a specific role, and it adds SkillDrift certificates to it automatically when you finish a course, so the resume stays current without you editing it on a Sunday night. But the resume is an output of the rest of the platform rather than the product itself. If all you want is a better-worded CV, a dedicated resume tool will serve you better.
Does it work if I have no experience yet?

Yes, and it is one of the cases it is built for. Jobs and internships are covered for anyone with under a year of experience, and they are scored against the skills you actually have rather than against years served. For a student or fresher the useful part is usually the gap list, because it tells you which specific skills to learn before applying rather than after being rejected. Each gap turns into a short learning sprint rather than a forty-hour course, and finishing one adds a certificate to your resume automatically.
