Overview
The olixBot G1 by Olive Robotics is an Omniderictional Robot Base Platform. This ROS-native AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) is designed for advanced development and features high-payload, compact design with a chassis of 600 400 115 mm.
It allows holonomic omni locomotion, or agile omnidirectional motion, thanks to its 100 mm holonomic wheels. The olixBot G1 operates using ROS 2 native + DDS, making it capable of real-time operation without the need for drivers. This robot features a high-torque drive train with four BLDC brushless gear motors, offering reliable torque and smooth motion.
In addition, it comes equipped with a complete sensor and safety suite, which includes a built-in encoder, an IMU, and a temperature sensor. The safety suite optionally incorporates 4 RADAR & 4 2D LiDAR systems, along with an emergency-stop feature, safety LEDs, and an IP22 rating for protection against intrusive objects and water. The olixBot G1 offers industrial connectivity and add-ons, facilitating remote, real-time operation.
It also has a long endurance power system, offering a typical runtime that varies based on the configuration. Moreover, it also boasts advanced EKF and AI fusion for high precision navigation. The design of the olixBot G1 supports omnidirectional locomotion, provided by reliable, holonomic wheels that ensure Omni motion.
Additionally, the onboard olixAI technology enables real-time data classification, drift correction and adaptive filtering. The olixBot G1 is useful across multiple sectors, from indoor robots to factory floors, as it continues to maintain stable performance under rough conditions.
