This is my revised review. I use a phone to use apps. When I first encountered this website, I tried it and couldn't do anything. I left a review and the dev contacted me. Hats off to the dev! I can actually
use the website! First the good, it's less censorious than ANYTHING on Google Play, but still has filters. The bad, it's extremely limited limited. No voice or videos. However, it's not a deal breaker for me, but a voice feature would be nice. I've purchased the $6.00 package to give it a test run. Thank you to the dev, I'm glad he fixed my issue!

DreamGen earns a 2-star rating from me. While it does reasonably well with chat memory, the overall package falls short. There’s no calling feature, and the platform feels too boxed in with forced scenarios instead of letting users enjoy more natural, flexible conversations. For a companion AI, that lack of freedom is frustrating.

The pricing model only adds to the disappointment. It runs on a credit system rather than unlimited messages, and the Pro plan is $33.81 per month with no lifetime subscription option and no workaround to run it locally. That’s simply too expensive for what it offers.

Compared with Character AI, DreamGen doesn’t stack up. It needs more scenarios, more functions, a calling feature, and a far more realistic pricing model before it can even start to feel competitive. Right now, it’s overpriced for what little it delivers.

Great ai, great setup, great story telling with accurate prompts 90% of the time, my only issue is i was apparently using credits i didnt even know existed with no way that i could find of checking my balance or topping up, was getting really into the story i was creating before suddenly being told i was outtve credits was a real downer

This one is awesome! Can be smart and thought provoking or totally naughty. When asked, she comes up with some really fun suggestions. Love it!

At the moment my favorite - got a good storytelling and the AI is adjustable. Sometimes I had the feeling the AI thinks out of the box, which suprises me sometimes which makes conversations very fun. Highly recommended.

Kind of like a mix between character AI and novel AI. A bit more complicated than most chatbots I’ve used, but in turn gives a lot more control to the user. Great even without a subscription.
