Claude Fable 5.1
Claude Fable 5.1 is a closed source large language model that takes text and image input and returns text. It has a 1M token context window and a 128K token maximum output. Extended thinking is adaptive and always on, with a default effort level of high. It supports tool use and function calling, and targets agentic coding, code review, terminal based development, computer use and long running multi step problem solving. Training data cutoff is June 2026.
