All your data is encrypted and decrypted on your device using AES 256 encryption algorithm. Additionally, the key is never sent to PhotoLog servers or anywhere on the network, so no one apart from you can view what your upload unless you share your encryption password. Every album can have a different encryption password. Make sure you don't lose your encryption password, otherwise you won't be able to recover your data. PhotoLog staff can not recover encrypted data if the encryption password is lost.

We require you to provide us with a valid email address and billing information (processed by Stripe). However, all your media can be client-side encrypted making it impossible for anyone (including PhotoLog staff) to access it without your decryption key. If you want to use PhotoLog 100% anonymously, you can also pay by crypto. If you wish to pay by crypto, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange the payment details.

Absolutely nothing. Your media is yours and yours alone.

We currently support the following media (more to come in the future): For photos: jpg, jpeg, png For videos: rm*, ram*, mp4, ogg, webm For RAWs**: tif, cr2, nef, x3f, dng * Cannot be viewed using the online player. To view these files, you will have to download them locally. ** Only a thumbnail is visible online. To view them at full quality you will need to download them. (More types to be added in time)
