Overview
Norton Neo is an AI-native browser that focuses on users' safety and productivity. The innovative platform combines intelligent navigation with conversational AI, and search functionality to streamline the browsing experience.
A key offering of the Neo browser is its focus on privacy and user control. It gives users the ability to determine what information is remembered and what gets forgotten.
Users' chats and browsing history are stored locally, ensuring that data remains private and secure. Additionally, Norton's Web Shield utility is integrated, providing proactive protection by blocking potentially harmful sites and phishing attempts before the user interacts with them.
The browsing experience promises fewer distractions by organizing tabs and prioritizing what's important, easing navigation and improving focus. Very good, except that it doesn't let you arrange workgroups vertically and tabs horizontally like Opera does.
i'm not super technical but i wanted something that felt safer without having to install a bunch of extensions. norton neo just comes with the privacy stuff already built in.
the VPN is free and it actually works. logged into Hulu no problem, no buffering issues, no weird region errors.
been using it for about a month now and honestly the free VPN alone makes it worth it. i was paying separately for a VPN when i'm traveling and now i don't have to. one less subscription.
was curious about the split view thing. but the privacy stuff actually got me to stay. no tracking, built-in VPN, and i can watch Hulu on one side while checking lineups on the other. solid setup.
It is really easy to use. Best of all, you can use the built-in free VPN to access content from anywhere in the world. I just recently found out that you can also stream FIFA games with this feature. It's so good!
