Highly recommended for startups and developers who want to take their project to the next level.
I completed the screening, but my project didn’t reach the score needed for a free Assessment Pass and marketplace access. The feedback was still useful because it clearly showed which parts of the deck felt weaker and what needed more work. I’d like to improve those points and go through the screening again.
I recently used Athanor Market to assess our startup concept, and the experience was genuinely helpful. The dual‑axis GemScore gave us a clear snapshot of both our current readiness for investors and the realistic upside we could achieve if we execute well. The expert feedback from the Circle of Alchemists pointed out blind spots we hadn’t considered, saving us weeks of guesswork. Overall, the platform feels like a trusted co‑founder that accelerates early‑stage validation without the usual noise. Like :)
What drew me to Athanor was its structured approach. As an operations manager, I value tools that help turn a project from a loose set of ideas into something more clear and complete, with visible risks and areas that need more work. I also liked that projects may be featured in the platform’s marketplace and get additional visibility within the Athanor investor network. For me, that makes it a useful tool because it saves time, helps structure the project better, and creates another layer of visibility. I also heard that the platform has a KPI-based element for aligning investment terms, and if I raise funding, I’d be curious to see how that works in practice.
I tested the product on my own idea and was really satisfied with the result. The analysis feels structured, professional, and much more grounded than a typical LLM chat. It helped me see both the strengths and weak points of the idea and made me want to run it again with a more thoughtful input.
I also liked the detailed AI analysis logging, the debate flow, and the potential/readiness matrix. Even after one run, the product already feels valuable for a founder. With deeper UX/UI and technical development, I can see strong potential in it.
I’ve been really impressed with Athanor so far. The idea of having an AI-native copilot for pre–due diligence is incredibly useful, especially at the early stages where clarity and structured thinking matter most.
The GemScore system stands out — separating Readiness and Potential is a smart way to evaluate startups without oversimplifying them into a single number. It actually reflects how investors think.
What I like most is how practical the output is. The reports aren’t just generic AI summaries — they break things down across team, market, risks, and competition, and give actionable next steps. The addition of human expert feedback through the Circle of Alchemists is a huge bonus and makes the whole process feel more grounded.
The Lite GemScore Pass is also great for quick iterations, and the live activity view adds transparency — you can actually see how the evaluation is being formed instead of just getting a black-box result.
Overall, Athanor feels like a genuinely useful tool for founders refining ideas and for early-stage investors doing initial screening. Excited to see how it evolves.
