Quasar 438B is a 438 billion parameter text only large language model built for reasoning. Extended thinking is always on, with a reasoning effort setting that controls depth. It works in English and Spanish, supports function and tool calling plus structured outputs, and targets agentic coding, software engineering, operational automation and long context document research. It is served through a hosted API as a proprietary model, with weights not released.
