MusicGen
MusicGen is Meta's open music generation model and the core of the AudioCraft library. A single-stage transformer predicts EnCodec audio tokens from a text description, optionally conditioned on a reference melody, and produces 32kHz music. It ships at 300M, 1.5B and 3.3B parameters, and the smaller models generate locally on a consumer GPU.
