KAT-Coder is Kwaipilot’s strongest code intelligence model, designed for advanced software engineering and agentic coding workflows. It is trained with the same staged pipeline as KAT-Dev but pushes further on agentic RL, tool use, multi-turn software tasks, and efficient problem solving, with the project page highlighting stronger SWE-Bench Verified performance than the open model.
