Separating AI referrals from the rest is exactly where the default analytics setup quietly fails - a large share of it lands in direct and nobody ever finds out. The follow-up everyone will ask: what about assistants that send no referrer at all, like traffic from a desktop app? Do you infer those, and how confident is that number?
