Breed.dog is a fantastic tool for anyone who wants to identify their dog breed using AI. I tested it with photos of a Golden Retriever, a German Shepherd, and a mixed breed rescue dog. The purebred identifications were spot on and the mixed breed result gave three plausible suggestions with confidence percentages which I found very helpful. The speed of the analysis is impressive — results come back within seconds of uploading a photo. The care tips and breed characteristics shown alongside the identification results add real value beyond just naming the breed. As someone who is working on Furriq which is a similar AI tool but focused specifically on cat breed identification, I find it fascinating to compare the technical approaches between dog and cat breed recognition. Dogs have such a wide range of physical variations across breeds which makes the identification challenge quite different from cats. It would be really cool to see a combined pet breed identifier that handles both cats and dogs in a single tool. The user interface is clean and intuitive. Great work on building this!

Nice tool for dog breed identification! The AI seems to work well with clear photos. As someone working on a similar project for cats (Furriq), I find it interesting to compare approaches between dog and cat breed recognition. Would be cool to see a combined pet breed identifier someday.
